Rolags (sometimes referred to as Punis) are fun little rolls of blended fibres that are perfect for woolen spinning or long draw by drafting from either end. They are extremely portable and are a great fiber prep to spin on a drop spindle to avoid fibers wrapping and catching on your wrist as you spin. They are just as much fun to spin on a wheel!
Batts are made on a drum carder and are like blankets of fibres. The fibres are carded, but more aligned than in rolags. You can spin thes in every way from frog-hair fine, to chunky art yarn. The sky's the limit!
