Blossoms After Dark

Blossoms After Dark, our signature colourway for Knit City Vancouver 2025. Inspired by Vancouver's annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Taking place over 3 nights in David Lam Park, where the iconic trees are illuminated by a sea of pink, purple and blue lights.

sweet pea sock: 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon | 2-ply | 365m per 100g | fingering weight

wild rye sock: 100% non-superwash fine organic merino | 4-ply | 400m per 100g | fingering weight

violet sock:  80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon | 4-ply | 398m per 100g | fingering weight

wood lily sock: 85% superwash merino, 15% donegal nep | 2-ply | 400m per 100g | fingering weight

wood lily dk: 85% superwash merino, 15% donegal nep | 4-ply | 212m per 100g | double knit weight

wild rye dk: 100% non-superwash fine organic merino | 4-ply | 225m per 100g | double knit weight

cottonwood dk: 100% superwash merino | 3-ply | 225m per 100g | double knit weight

tamarack lace: 65% baby suri, 35% silk | single-ply | 400m per 50g | lace weight

anemone lace: 72% mohair, 28% silk | single ply | 419m per 50g | lace weight

Each item we make is unique, and no two skeins will ever look entirely the same, even within dye lots.  If using more than one for a project, it's best to alternate every few rows.  We do our best to represent colours accurately, however variation will occur between screens.

All of our yarn is hand-dyed using professional acid based dyes and washed afterwards with scent-free detergents.  Some bleeding may still occur after the first wash.  We recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry. All yarn and fibre is processed in our smoke free, pet friendly home.
